Power on and Enter Pairing Mode
-
Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until you hear a startup sound and see a blue indicator light turn on.
-
Wait for the camera to automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a continuous 'Ding Dong Ding Dong' sound and a flashing blue light.
Note: For first-time setup, the camera should enter pairing mode automatically. If it doesn't, double-click the power button.
Connection Methods
Before proceeding to App Setup, note that there are two ways to add your camera to the app:
-
Bluetooth Connection (Fastest, Recommended)
-
QR Code Connection (Alternative when Bluetooth is not available, fails, or for devices that do not support Bluetooth Connection)
App Setup
-
Enable Bluetooth for your phone and for the app in your phone's settings.
Note: For Android phones, enabling Bluetooth on the device is sufficient. For iOS phones, make sure to also grant the app permission to use Bluetooth.
-
Open the app.
-
Tap "Add camera now" and follow the in-app instructions to connect your camera to a Wi-Fi network.
Note: The camera only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi.
-
Once connected, name your camera and set its location for easy identification and quick filtering.
Install Camera Close to Router
-
At the end of the app setup, the app will assess the camera's Wi-Fi signal strength. Avoid locations where the signal is marked as "Low." For optimal performance, position the camera near the Wi-Fi router. Be aware that obstacles like thick walls, brickwork, ceramics, electromagnetic devices, large liquid quantities, and substantial metal objects can interfere with Wi-Fi signals. If the signal remains weak, consider upgrading your router or using a Wi-Fi extender.
Final Configurations
-
On the app's homepage, tap on the "setting" icon to set your preferences for motion detection, notifications, recordings, alarms, and any other features.
