When Should You Use QR Code Connection?
Use QR Code Connection in scenarios where Bluetooth is unavailable, if the Bluetooth connection fails, or if your device does not support Bluetooth. It's particularly useful in scenarios where Bluetooth signals may be weak, such as in crowded environments or when using older devices.
What is the QR Code?
The QR Code encodes your Wi-Fi information. Once you enter your Wi-Fi name and password during the app setup, the app will generate this QR Code for scanning.
How to Add Your Camera Via QR Code
-
Enter Pairing Mode: Before scanning the QR Code, ensure your camera is in pairing mode. This is typically indicated by a continuous "Ding Dong Ding Dong" sound.
-
Scan the QR Code: Aim the camera lens at the QR Code displayed on the app. You will hear a "Ding" sound if the scan is successful.
For optimal scanning, make sure your camera's lens is clean and free of obstructions. Avoid scanning the QR Code in bright or backlit environments as this can interfere with the scan. Maintain a distance of 6 to 12 inches (15 to 30 cm) between the camera lens and the QR Code. Adjust the camera's position slightly to achieve the clearest focus.
