What Is an Activity Zone
An Activity Zone is a specific area within your camera's field of view, allowing you to receive alerts only for movements that matter to you. By setting up Activity Zones, you can tailor your notifications to focus on specific areas, enhancing your monitoring efficiency.
Setting up and Managing Activity Zones
Please tap the camera "setting" icon > tap "Notification Settings" > tap "Activity Zone", then you can set up and customize Activity Zones for your camera.
Creating an Activity Zone

Please tap the "+" icon in the upper-right corner.

Drag the corners of the zone to resize the zone.

Tap and hold within the zone to reposition it.

Tap the pencil icon to customize the zone name.

Tap the "✓" icon to save.
Adjusting an Existing Activity Zone

Tap the zone you want to adjust.

Tap the "settings" (gear) icon to drag the points of the Zone to change the area.

Deleting an Activity Zone

Integrate Activity Zones with AI notifications to refine and customize your alert system.
Customize your alerts effectively by following these steps:

Define an Activity Zone, then go to the "Notification Setting" page.

Select Classification such as "Person," "Vehicle," "Pet," "Package," or "Bird."

Receive alerts only for the AI-detected activities specified within your zone.
With this configuration, you will only receive alerts when the AI system detects and confirms human movement within your specified zone.

Why use an Activity Zone?
The camera always records all videos, but you will receive a notification only in case movements is detected in the Activity Zone(s).
How many Activity Zones can I create?
You can create up to three Activity Zones per camera.
What happens after I create an Activity Zone?
After creating an activity zone, the app will send a notification to your phone only when a movement is detected within the activity zone. It is important to point out that all movements that occur in the camera's field of view will be recorded, regardless of whether they are detected within the zone or not. So you can see that the Activity Zone feature only affects notifications.
Why is motion outside the Activity Zone being recorded?
When motion is detected by your camera, it automatically starts recording. Setting an activity zone primarily affects push notifications for motion within that specific area, and does not influence whether recordings are made outside of this zone. The camera records any detected motion, regardless of the defined Activity Zone.
Why am I receiving notifications from outside the Activity Zone?
Overlap between AI detection and activity zone: Notifications may occur when a person or vehicle moves very close to the edges of the Activity Zone area due to overlap between the AI detection box and the activity zone. To fix this, try reducing the Activity Zone to minimize overlap.
"Others" Notifications: The "Others" category includes notifications triggered by events outside of human, pet, or vehicle detection, such as tree branches moving. If these motions happen within the Activity Zone, you will still receive notifications. If you don’t want these alerts, go to Notification Settings and disable the "Others" option.
What should I do if my Activity Zone is not working?
If your Activity Zone isn’t working as expected:

Redefine the zone for greater precision and to avoid overlaps.

Consider reducing the zone size to exclude frequent, irrelevant movements.

Ensure your activity zones are correctly configured in your camera's settings.

Keep your camera's firmware and application updated to benefit from the latest fixes and features.
