This guide will help you understand how to use our 4G cameras with the SIM card and third-party SIM cards. Our goal is to ensure a smooth setup process for our valuable users.
Option 1: Using the Pre-installed SIM Card (Fastest, Recommended)
Our 4G cameras come with a SIM card that supports Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile networks. And our SIM card is designed to automatically connect to the best available network, providing you with optimal coverage and performance.
The camera comes with a pre-installed SIM card with initial data for setup. Power it on, and the camera will connect automatically. After setup, recharge the SIM card to maintain functionality.

Option 2: Using your own SIM Card
If you prefer to use your own SIM card or third-party SIM card instead of the pre-installed one, here are the steps and considerations you need to follow. Ensure that the SIM card you use is compatible with your local network's frequency bands.
Option 2.1: Using Official Carrier SIM Cards: Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile
Many local official carrier SIM cards will work seamlessly with our 4G cameras. These include major carriers like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile in the United States.
Setup Process:
-
Insert the third-party SIM card into the SIM card slot on your 4G camera.
-
Power on the camera. Try long-pressing the power button for 5 seconds.
-
The camera will attempt to connect to the network automatically.
-
Follow the prompts in the app to complete the setup.
Option 2.2: Using Less Common Third-Party SIM Cards (Manual APN Configuration)
Some third-party SIM cards may require manual configuration to connect to the network. This often involves entering the Access Point Name (APN) settings provided by your carrier.
Setup Process:
-
Insert the third-party SIM card into the SIM card slot on your 4G camera.
-
Power on the camera.
-
If the camera does not connect automatically, you will need to enter the APN settings manually. Here’s a simplified path to manually configure the APN on your 4G camera if you are not using the pre-installed SIM card:
-
APN Settings: If you see "SIM card can't connect to internet," click "APN Settings."
-
Enter Details: On the "Set APN Information" page, input MCC, MNC, and APN provided by your carrier.
-
Save: Click "Next" to save the settings and connect your camera to the network.
-
-
Once the camera connects to the network, complete the setup process in the app.
