Connection Methods
Before proceeding to App Setup, note that there are two ways to add your doorbell camera to the app:
- Bluetooth Connection (Recommended) ➝ Automatically detects your camera via Bluetooth and sends the network info.
- QR Code Connection (Alternative) ➝ Use this method when Bluetooth is not available, your phone doesn’t detect the camera, or pairing fails.
This article focuses on the QR code setup method.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Power on the camera
- To access the power button, you need to remove the top cover of the doorbell first.
- Insert the detaching pin into the hole on the top of the doorbell, press gently, then lift and remove the top cover.
- The power button is usually located on the side of the doorbell body.
- To turn on the doorbell camera, press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds.
2. Enter Pairing Mode
2.1 First-Time Pairing
- When the device is powered on for the first time, it will automatically enter pairing mode.
- You’ll see the blue indicator light flashing and hear a repeated “Ding Dong Ding Dong” sound.
2.2 Re-Pairing (Previously Connected Device)
If the camera was previously paired, it won’t enter pairing mode automatically. To activate pairing mode manually:
- After powering on the camera, quickly double-press the power button.
- Once pairing mode is activated, the blue indicator light will start flashing and you’ll hear a repeated “Ding Dong Ding Dong” sound.
3. Connect via QR Code in the App

- Once you hear the startup sound — a repeated “Ding Dong Ding Dong” — tap “I heard the sound”, then tap “Next Step.”
- On the “Choose your device” screen, if your camera is not listed, tap “Other connection methods.”
- On the “Choose a device connection method” screen:
- Select “Connect via Wi-Fi”, then tap “Continue”

- Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi name and password

- A confirmation pop-up will appear
- Tap “Confirm” if the Wi-Fi info is correct
- You’ll see a QR code on screen. Hold your phone 15–25 cm in front of the camera lens.
- When scanned successfully, you’ll hear a “beep”. The app will display “Connecting...” as it finalizes the setup.
4. Final Configuration
- After the QR code is successfully scanned, it will automatically jump to “Set a name and location for the device”
- Enter a name and choose a location, then tap “Next Step”
- You’ll see “Device added successfully”, then:
- If you need to add more cameras, tap “Add another device” to repeat the setup process.
