Some VicoHome device models are designed to work only in specific authorized regions.
If your current location is outside the supported region for this model, the device cannot be activated or used, and you may see a message indicating that the device is not available in your region.
How is regional availability determined?
Regional availability is determined automatically during device activation and use.
Our system performs automatic verification based on multiple factors, such as:
- The device model and its regional authorization
- The network environment used during activation
These checks are handled by the system and do not require any manual setup, permissions, or action from you.
What happens if I try to use the device in an unsupported region?
If a device is used in a region where it is not supported, the VicoHome app may display a message such as
"This device is not available in this region."
In this case, the device will not complete activation, app features will not be available, and the device cannot be used in the unsupported region.
For the best experience and stable performance, we recommend using the device only in regions where it is officially supported.
What should I do if I purchased this device by mistake?
If the device model you purchased is not intended for use in your region, we recommend:
- Contacting the seller or retailer where the device was purchased to confirm regional compatibility
- Verifying whether this model is authorized for use in your country or region
- Requesting a return, exchange, or refund based on the seller’s return policy, if applicable
