CentralHub includes a built-in security siren that can sound an alarm when motion is detected by paired cameras. You can enable or disable the siren for each camera, adjust the siren volume, and stop an active alarm at any time.
How to Enable the Siren
- Open the app.
- Find a camera paired with your CentralHub.
- Tap the Settings icon next to the camera.
- Select "Alarm Settings".
- Turn on the "Hub Alarm".
-
(Optional) Set the "Alarm Duration":
- 1 minute
- 3 minutes
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
After Hub Alarm is enabled, CentralHub will automatically sound an alarm when motion is detected by that camera.
How to Adjust the Siren Volume
- Open the app.
- Find your CentralHub on the "Home" page.
- Tap the ⋯ icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select "Device Setting".
- Scroll down and tap "Alarm Settings".
- Adjust "Alarm Volume" to your preferred level.
- Tap "Play test sound" to test the current volume.
How to Turn Off the Siren
- Open the paired camera's "Alarm Settings" page.
- Turn off "Hub Alarm".
Once disabled, motion events from that camera will no longer trigger the CentralHub siren.
How to Stop an Active Alarm
If the siren is already sounding, press the Alarm Off button on the top of CentralHub to stop the alarm immediately.
Notes
- The siren is turned off by default.
- Hub Alarm is configured separately for each paired camera.
- The "Play Test Sound" option lets you preview the siren volume before an actual alarm event.
- Pressing the Alarm Off button stops the current alarm only and does not change your alarm settings.
