Quick Setup Overview
- Connect the CentralHub to your router
- Power on the CentralHub
- Enter pairing mode
- Add the CentralHub in the App
- Complete the setup
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Connect and Power on the CentralHub
- Place the CentralHub near your Wi-Fi router.
- Use an Ethernet cable to connect the CentralHub to the router.
- Plug the CentralHub into a power outlet.
- Wait about 1 minute for the CentralHub to initialize.
- The indicator light will turn on when the device is ready.
2. Enter Pairing Mode
2.1 First-Time Pairing
- When powered on for the first time, the CentralHub automatically enters pairing mode.
2.2 Re-Pairing
If the CentralHub does not enter pairing mode automatically:
- Double-click the SYNC button.
- The CentralHub will enter pairing mode and become discoverable in the app.
3. Connect via Bluetooth in the App
3.1 Enable Bluetooth
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Android: Simply enable Bluetooth in your phone's settings.
- iPhone (iOS): Enable Bluetooth and make sure the app has Bluetooth permission in Settings.
3.2 Open the App
- If this is your first device, tap "Add a new device".
- If you've already added devices, tap the "+" icon and select "Add a new device".
3.3 Add the CentralHub
- Select CentralHub & Camera Kit.
- The app will automatically search for nearby CentralHub devices.
- Select your CentralHub from the device list.
- Wait for the app to complete the connection.
4. Final Configuration
After the CentralHub is successfully connected:
- Enter a name for your CentralHub.
- Select its "House".
- Choose its Location for easier device management.
The CentralHub is now ready to pair with supported cameras.
Troubleshooting
If you're unable to add the CentralHub, please provide the following information when contacting support:
- The CentralHub indicator light status.
- Any error messages shown in the app.
- Whether the CentralHub is connected to the router using an Ethernet cable.
- Whether Bluetooth is enabled and the app has Bluetooth permission.
- A brief description of your setup process, along with screenshots or a short video if available.
