Follow these steps to pair your doorbell with the indoor chime. The process takes only a few minutes.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have the following ready:
- Your doorbell device
- The indoor chime
- A compatible power adapter (5V/1A–5V/2A)
Step 1: Connect the Indoor Chime to Power
Plug the indoor chime into a power outlet using a 5V/1A–5V/2A adapter.
The chime will emit a single ring to confirm it is powered on.
Step 2: Place the Doorbell Near the Chime
For the best pairing results, place your doorbell within 2 meters (about 6.5 feet) of the indoor chime.
Step 3: Put the Chime in Pairing Mode
Press and hold the pairing button on the front of the indoor chime until you hear a beep.
The chime is now in pairing mode.
Step 4: Pair the Doorbell with the Chime
Press and hold the main button on your doorbell for about 6 seconds.
The doorbell will ring twice to send a pairing signal.
The chime will ring to confirm it has received the signal.
Step 5: Confirm the Connection
Press the doorbell button once to test.
If the indoor chime rings, the pairing is successful and your devices are ready to use.
Tips and Troubleshooting
- If pairing fails, unplug the chime, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in before retrying.
- Make sure the doorbell is fully charged before starting the process.
- Keep the doorbell close to the chime during setup for a stable connection.
