Choose SIM Card and Install
-
Choose an activated SIM card for the camera.
There are two main options to use the SIM cards effectively to ensure your camera operates smoothly: using the pre-installed SIM card or using your own SIM card. We primarily recommend using the provided SIM card for the best experience.
Option 1: Using the Pre-installed SIM Card (Fastest, Recommended)
-
Pre-installed: The camera comes with a pre-installed SIM card for easy setup.
-
Pre-loaded Data: The pre-installed SIM card includes sufficient data to complete the initial camera binding process.
-
Post-Binding Recharge: After successful binding, you need to recharge the pre-installed SIM card via the app to continue using the camera.
Option 2: Using Your Own SIM Card
-
Manual Installation: You need to manually remove the pre-installed SIM card and insert your own SIM card.
-
Configure APN Settings: Depending on the SIM card provider, manual APN configuration may be required. APN settings can be found in the app.
-
Ensure Compatibility: Not all SIM cards are compatible with the camera, ensure your SIM card can work properly.
Power on and Enter Pairing Mode
-
Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until you hear a startup sound and see a blue indicator light turn on.
-
Wait for the camera to automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a continuous 'Ding Dong Ding Dong' sound and a flashing blue light.
Note: For first-time setup, the camera should enter pairing mode automatically. If it doesn't, double-click the power button.
